Gospel of John

An eyewitness of Jesus’ earthly ministry, John tells us the purpose of his manuscript: “but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31). As one of the original twelve disciples, he, along with Peter and James, included special behind-the-scenes events, all of which present Jesus as the Messiah.
